Job summary

The Seattle office of Fisher Phillips seeks a junior associate with 2-3 years of experience to join its Employment Litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a sophisticated management-side labor and employment practice representing employers throughout Washington and the Pacific Northwest.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings, drafting motions, and drafting agency position statements.

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school is required.
• Admission to the Washington State Bar is required.
• Two years of litigation experience, preferably in labor and employment law.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational, communication, and case-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft and respond to discovery and initial pleadings.
• Draft motions and agency position statements.
• Contribute to the Employment Litigation team representing employers.
• Develop a demonstrated interest in labor and employment law.
