Job summary

LG Electronics in the Seattle metro area is seeking a Field Service Technician (Appliance Repair) to service LG home appliances and TVs in customers' homes. You will travel to client locations, diagnose and repair devices, manage parts and document work performed, while representing the LG brand with professionalism.

Requirements include 1 year tech experience (appliance repair preferred), ability to lift up to 50 pounds, valid driver's license, and EPA certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a technical role (Appliance repair preferred).
• Experience repairing major appliances (Refrigeration/sealed systems, cooking, cleaning products).
• Experience in the use of tools, and diagnostic test equipment.
• Ability to properly trouble-shoot, diagnose, repair and document product/system issues.

Responsibilities

• Travel offsite to customers' locations to perform maintenance and repair of LG's equipment to ensure top product performance.
• Proper use of all safety equipment (PPE), vehicle and diagnostic tools provided by LG.
• Conducts technical diagnosis and performs specialized repairs on a variety of electronics and home appliances.
• Diagnose problems, assess the extent of the problem, document findings, make decisions to repair the product and/or replace parts.
• Immediately and accurately process paperwork and perform data entry upon completion of each job.
• Pre-screen next day service calls by obtaining necessary information to help diagnose problem prior to arriving at customer's home.
• Meet or exceed company metrics (customer satisfaction, fix right first time, revisits, parts management, OT %).
