Behavioral Health Solutions is seeking experienced Advanced Psychiatric Practitioners (PMHNP, PA-C) to join our SNF Psychiatry team in the Washington/Greater Seattle area. You will provide face-to-face psychiatric services to residents in skilled nursing facilities, assess mental status, diagnose DSM-5 disorders, and develop treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Washington by the Board of Nursing.
• Licensed by WA Board of Pharmacy to prescribe controlled substances (DEA).
• 1 year of geriatric psychiatry experience.
• 1 year in Skilled Nursing Facilities or Acute Rehab.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face psychiatric services in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Assess mental status and diagnose DSM-5 disorders; develop treatment plans.
• Apply psychopharmacology decisions and non-pharmacological treatments.
• Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.


• Assess the patient’s mental status based on symptoms.


• Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.


• Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments.


• Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.

Requirements

• Licensed in Washington by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry.


• Licensed by the Washington Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (possession of a DEA)


• 1 year of Geri Psych Experience.


• 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals.
