Behavioral Health Solutions is seeking qualified Advanced Psychiatric Practitioners (PMHNP, PA-C) to join our SNF Psychiatry team in Washington. Base salary plus incentives, with total earnings potential of $195,000+ annually.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Washington by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry.
• Licensed by the Washington Board of Pharmacy to prescribe controlled substances (DEA).
• 1 year of Geriatric Psychiatry experience.
• 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Assess the patient’s mental status based on symptoms.
• Diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
• Apply medical decision-making for mental health issues including psychopharmacology and non-pharmacological treatments.
• Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.

Our team of mental health treatment professionals specialize in providing comprehensive behavioral health services to the underserved geriatric population residing in Skilled Nursing and Long Term Care facilities.
