Job summary

Behavioral Health Solutions is seeking an Advanced Psychiatric Practitioner (PMHNP, PA-C) to join our SNF Psychiatry team in Washington. This full-time W2 role offers a base plus incentives within a geriatric behavioral health setting.

Qualified candidates will be licensed in WA to practice psychiatry, with geriatric experience and ability to diagnose DSM disorders, develop plans, and collaborate with physicians. Generous PTO, CEU allowances, and AI note-taking tools support work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.

• Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
• Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments.
• Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.

Behavioral Health Solutions is looking for qualified Advanced Psychiatric Practitioner (PMHNP, PA-C) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Psychiatry team in Washington. Our team of mental health treatment professionals specialize in providing comprehensive behavioral health services to the underserved geriatric population residing in Skilled Nursing and Long Term Care facilities.

Requirements

• Licensed in Washington by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry.
• Licensed by the Washington Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (possession of a DEA)
• 1 year of Geri Psych Experience.
• 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals.
