Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a year-round Block Advisor to prepare complete and accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex tax situations. You will conduct in-depth client interviews to understand finances and offer clear, personalized recommendations.

You will build trusted, year-round client relationships by delivering empathetic, consultative service, identifying tax savings opportunities, and providing IRS support and audit guidance as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
• Experience preparing complex individual returns and business returns, including tax planning, audit support, and tax notice resolution.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
