Job summary

Provision Living, LLC is seeking a Cook to ensure high-quality food preparation in a senior living setting. You will report to the Executive Chef / Dining Manager and support dining services while supporting residents’ well-being and dining experience.

The role requires cooking skills, knife proficiency, and ServSafe certification (or readiness to obtain within 60 days). Ability to stand/walk, lift items, and work collaboratively is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; consider work/life experiences.
• 2–4 years of cooking experience required.
• Exceptional knowledge of baking, sauté, fry, sauces, and cold prep.
• Strong knife skills and ability to follow recipes with accurate measurements.
• Knowledge of proper food handling techniques and sanitation.
• ServSafe Certification preferred or obtained within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Cook and bake according to recipes and standards.
• Assist with serving meals, drinks, and maintaining a clean area.
• Support catering, room service, and special events.
• Take drink and food orders and manage dining service.
• Sanitize, set, and bus tables; maintain inventories.
• Follow Dining Service policies and participate in daily checklists.
• Contribute to sales/marketing efforts to enhance resident satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
