Job summary

R365hire is seeking an experienced Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare and cook a variety of dishes for restaurant guests, ensuring quality and consistency. A ServeSafe or Food Handler’s certification (or willingness to attain) is preferred, as is prior restaurant cook experience.

You should be able to stand for long periods, lift 30+ lbs, and work as part of a fast-paced, collaborative team to deliver exceptional dining experiences to guests.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a restaurant cook preferred.
• ServeSafe certification or Food Handler’s certification (or willingness to attain).
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to lift 30+ lbs.
• Ability to stand for 8+ hours.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and clean food prep areas to ensure sanitary practices.
• Ensure freshness by checking quality and rotating stock.
• Maintain correct temperatures for cooking equipment.
• Season and cook foods according to recipes or judgment.
• Turn or stir foods for even cooking.
• Respond promptly to guest feedback.
