Carlita's is seeking an experienced Cook to join our team in Eugene, OR. You will prepare and cook a variety of dishes for restaurant guests, delivering quality dining experiences. Responsibilities include maintaining sanitary prep areas, ensuring freshness and proper temperatures, and responding professionally to guest feedback. Physical stamina is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a restaurant cook preferred.
• ServeSafe or Food Handler’s certification preferred or willingness to attain.
• Strong communication and physical stamina.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and clean food preparation areas to ensure safe sanitation.
• Ensure freshness of food and ingredients and rotate stock.
• Maintain correct temperatures for storage and cooking equipment.
• Season and cook food according to recipes or judgment.
• Turn or stir foods to ensure even cooking.
• Respond to guest feedback with appropriate urgency and professionalism.
