Job summary

McMenamins East 19th St. Pub in Eugene, Oregon seeks an energetic Line Cook to work from opening to closing, preparing a range of hot and cold dishes with care and speed. You will work as part of a collaborative kitchen team in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Experience in busy kitchen settings is preferred; applicants should have a current food handlers card and be able to multi-task while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.

Qualifications

• Obtain and maintain a current food handlers card
• Previous cooking experience is preferred
• Enjoy working in a busy customer service-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Handle opening to closing kitchen tasks
• Prepare and present hot and cold dishes (salads, sandwiches, pastas, appetizers, pizzas, specials, sauté & grill)
• Organize and clean own workstation and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen
• Work well independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
