Job summary

Evergreen Dining LLC is seeking a Line Cook to accurately prepare menu items in a fast-paced kitchen. You will follow the recipe book, cut, broil, sauté and fry as needed, and maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness.

You will prepare prep and production recipes and help organize received goods. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of related experience and strong teamwork, communication, and menu knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced restaurant preferred.
• Strong knowledge of common kitchen concepts and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipe book to prepare meats, fish, poultry, gravies, soups and vegetables.
• Cut, broil, sauté and fry as required by the menu.
• Maintain safe food handling and cleanliness at all times.
• Prepare prep and production recipes per Evergreen Dining LLC guidelines.
• Unpack and organize received goods for kitchen use.
• Operate in a fast-paced team environment and stay on schedule.
• Coordinate with team to ensure guest satisfaction and accuracy.
