Job summary

Evergreen Dining LLC is seeking a Line Cook to prepare menu items consistently and quickly in line with company specifications. You will follow recipe books, cut, broil, sauté and fry, practice safe food handling, manage prep and tickets, work with a team to ensure guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment, and meet schedule requirements. High School degree or equivalent is preferred, and 2+ years related experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years related experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Team player.
• Has strong knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipe books to prepare and cook meats, fish, poultry, gravies, soups, and vegetables.
• Cut, broil, sauté, and fry.
• Maintain safe food handling and cleanliness.
• Prepare food prep and production recipes per the recipe book.
• Unpack and organize received goods.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with strong ticket reading and team communication.
