Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino Hotel in Eagle Pass, TX is seeking a skilled Cook to join our kitchen team. Under the Head Cook, you will prepare, season and cook, while upholding food safety standards and guest service.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months experience as a cook preferred.
• Must be able and willing to follow established recipes.
• Communication skills in English both written and oral preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, season and cook food to specification and quality standards.
• Maintain proper food storage, temperature controls and sanitation.
• Follow and enforce kitchen safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Utilize approved recipes and ensure portion control to minimize waste.
• Operate kitchen equipment including stoves, broilers, fryers, mixers and knives.
• Maintain clean and organized work stations and storage areas.
• Assist with special events and catered meals as required.
