Job summary

Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino Hotel in Eagle Pass, Texas is seeking a Cook to work under the direction of the Head Cook. You will prepare, season and cook a variety of menu items while conforming to food safety standards and standardized recipes.

Responsibilities include maintaining sanitation, labeling and rotating stock, managing time to serve hot and fresh dishes, operating stove tops and other kitchen equipment, and assisting with special events as needed.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months experience as a cook preferred.
• Professional culinary training preferred.
• Must be able to follow established recipes.
• English communication preferred; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, season and cook food according to standardized recipes.
• Maintain high standards of guest service and food quality.
• Label, date and rotate foods; monitor temperatures and sanitation.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with events and catering as needed.
