Job summary

Maersk Warehousing & Distribution Services USA LLC is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for the Performance Team on-site in California. You will supervise 20+ employees, coordinate receiving, storage, inventory, and shipping, and ensure safety and compliance with procedures.

You will manage staffing, payroll, and training, maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, and optimize operations to meet customer metrics in a demanding logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory control and maintaining records.
• Payroll management and staff scheduling experience.
• Understanding of safety procedures in warehousing.
• Interviewing, hiring and training employees.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of inventory adjustments and cycle counts.
• Assist with inventory control and maintain accuracy across areas.
• Plan inbound/outbound schedules to meet customer metrics.
• Determine staffing needs and schedule workers accordingly.
• Supervise 20+ employees in operations and assign duties.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and communicate policies.
• Review procedures, train staff, and manage workflow to minimize variances.
• Traces item history to resolve discrepancies in stock records.
• Oversee payroll for the department and staff development.
