Job summary

VillageMD in New York—Carle Place—seeks a Scribe Tech for a seasonal position ending 1/17/2027. You will document patient visits in the EMR, assist physicians with basic care, and help manage patient flow and labs in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program or phlebotomy certification a plus, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Capturing accurate and detailed documentation of the patient visit into the EMR in a timely manner.
• Assisting the physician with basic patient care and medical procedures.
• Directing patient flow, inventory, and following up on labs.
• Ensuring DOH compliance of site lab and exam rooms.
• Providing compassionate care and exceptional patient service while adhering to protocols.
