Job summary

The Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation is seeking a Retail Supervisor to lead a seasonal team in our Medora gift shop. You will oversee daily operations, ensure outstanding customer service, manage stock, and promote shows, events, and activities in Medora.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of retail or supervisory experience, strong communication and leadership skills, and proficiency with POS systems. This full-time seasonal role requires reliability and a welcoming, guest-focused approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years supervisory experience preferred.
• 1–3 years' experience in retail and/or customer service.
• Experience with POS preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record preferred.
• Must be fluent in English; bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with friendly, professional service.
• Run POS system and ensure proper checkout.
• Process returns and exchanges accurately.
• Assist customers with merchandise questions and purchasing decisions.
• Restock and organize gift shop inventory.
