Job summary

Regal is seeking Floor Staff to support guests across Box Office, Concession Stand, or Usher roles. These positions include variable hour, part-time, or full-time schedules, with weekends, nights and holidays required.

You will handle POS transactions, assist with cash handling, promote Regal Crown Club, enforce MPAA policies, and keep auditoriums, lobbies and restrooms clean. Training covers cast certification and beverage service where applicable.

Qualifications

• Possess good public speaking, listen effectively and respond clearly.
• Perform calculations with speed and accuracy and identify and correct errors.
• Identify problems, gather relevant data and note possible causes of problems. Evaluate relevant information, recognize alternatives and reach conclusions based on evidence.

Responsibilities

• Operate POS system, including the proper handling of cash drawer, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards and redeemed discount tickets, passes and coupons.
• Upselling/suggestive selling of Premium Viewing Experience (3D, RPX, IMAX).
• Promoting the Regal Crown Club program
• Ensuring tickets are sold in accordance with the MPAA rating system and company policy
• Responding to phone calls and questions from guests in a manner consistent with our guest service philosophy
• Operating, preparing and cleaning of all concession related equipment
• Up selling/Suggestive selling
• Complying with all local, state and federal food safety laws
• Abide by all federal and state laws with regards to breaks and/or meal periods
• Ensure required alcohol certification and training are current where applicable
• Read and understand training materials covering sexual harassment and discrimination
• Tearing tickets, collecting and depositing appropriate stub, and directing patrons to their auditoriums
• Inspecting backpacks and packages when applicable
• Managing crowd control and assisting guests in finding seats in auditoriums when necessary
• Enforcement of MPAA rating system
• Conducting in theatre inspections to monitor picture and sound quality
• Reporting problems to management
• Perform in-auditorium concession sales
• Cleaning auditoriums and restrooms
• Monitoring vending equipment
• Assisting with opening and closing duties
