Job summary

Cape Cod Community College seeks a Seasonal and Substitute Proctor to support the Testing and Career Services Office within the Student Services and Enrollment Management Division. This part-time role focuses on proctoring placement assessments and third‑party tests and providing essential administrative assistance during peak testing and registration periods.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, strong customer service skills, and proficiency with MS Office and web conferencing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Dedication to providing student-centered customer service.
• Understanding of the mission of Cape Cod Community College.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and web-streaming services (e.g., Zoom, Teams).
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, and written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work calmly and patiently with students and College community members; ability to work effectively with a diverse population.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent telephone and e-mail communication skills.
• Ability to work as a team member.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide student-centered customer service and support.
• Monitor and maintain a quiet and secure testing environment.
• Conduct basic data integrity and input activities.
• Acquire and annually renew proctoring certifications on multiple test platforms.
• Perform other duties as assigned within Student Services and Enrollment Management.
