Job summary

Montgomery County Community College is seeking a Part Time Testing Center Specialist to support students and faculty with testing needs, schedule appointments, administer and proctor tests, and maintain confidentiality.

This 10-month, evenings role (August 1st to May 1st) requires multitasking, strong communication, and basic computer skills; duties include processing testing exemptions, assisting library staff, and performing related tasks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required with 2 years work related experience or an Associate’s degree may be preferred.
• Proficiency in computer skills
• Excellent communication, both written and oral
• Excellent customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Support students and faculty with testing needs. Make appointments for testing, administer and proctor tests and facilitate the return of tests to faculty ensuring strict confidentiality.
• Complete and maintain proctor trainings and certifications.
• Process transcripts for placement and testing exemptions
• Assist with Library circulation desk and Tutorial Services front-line services as needed.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
