Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs. You will work with an expert team and receive advanced tax training to build client relationships that grow stronger each year.

You will conduct tax interviews, prepare complete tax returns, and generate business growth while supporting clients with IRS matters. A CPA/EA or eligibility, plus 5+ years in accounting or tax, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to conduct tax interviews with clients in person or via virtual tools (video, phone, chat, email).
• Prepare complete and accurate federal and state tax returns.
• Identify opportunities to grow clients and retain relationships; offer additional products and services.
• Support clients with IRS notices and audit processes as needed; provide guidance within scope of certification.

• Provide clients with IRS support and audit representation where applicable
