Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to work with clients with diverse tax needs. You will be supported by a team and receive advanced tax training to help you succeed.

The role involves conducting tax interviews, preparing returns, and driving business growth while delivering excellent client service. Prior CPA/EA certification and 5+ years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification preferred.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support; audit representation where applicable.
• Mentor and support teammates.

Skills
