H&R Block is seeking an experienced Tax Professional for seasonal role. You will conduct tax interviews, prepare returns, and help clients with complex tax situations while leveraging our expert team and advanced training.

This position emphasizes client growth, retention, and offering additional services within a fast-paced office environment. The ideal candidate holds a CPA or EA, plus several years in accounting or tax, and can work effectively with in-person and virtual tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements.

Responsabilités

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
• Mentor and support teammates

Connaissances

Bachelor’s degree in accounting

CPA or Enrolled Agent certification

Experience completing complex returns
