Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs and to build lasting relationships through trusted tax advice. You’ll work with an expert team and receive advanced tax training to help clients make confident decisions.

Responsibilities include conducting client tax interviews (in person or virtually), preparing complete and accurate returns, and identifying opportunities to grow the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support
• Mentor and support teammates
