Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs. You will receive advanced tax training and join an expert team committed to your success in a fast-paced environment.

In this role you will conduct client interviews (in person and via virtual tools), prepare complete and accurate tax returns, and help grow the business by expanding client relationships and services. Training is provided to support your success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support; All certification levels can provide tax notice services; Circular 230 associates can provide audit representation.
• Mentor and support teammates
