H&R Block is hiring a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs. You will join a team that provides advanced tax training to help you be successful.

Expect to conduct interviews both in person and virtually, prepare accurate returns, and contribute to client growth and satisfaction. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, CPA/EA certification, and 5+ years in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience completing individual returns.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with virtual tools — video, phone and chat.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing, in person and by phone.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support; tax notice services available to Circular 230 associates.
• Mentor and support teammates.
