Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs. You’ll receive advanced tax training and work with an expert team to build client relationships that grow each year.

You will conduct tax interviews face-to-face and via virtual tools, prepare complete returns, and help grow the practice while mentoring teammates in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification preferred.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support; various notice and audit representation capabilities.
• Mentor and support teammates.
