Job summary

H&R Block, a leading tax services provider, seeks a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to assist clients with diverse tax needs and to benefit from expert training. You will interview clients, prepare returns, and deliver accurate results with a focus on client service.

In this role, you’ll work with a team to grow the business, provide IRS support, and mentor colleagues in a fast-paced environment. A Bachelor’s in accounting is preferred, and CPA/EA certification or progress is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting tax interviews with clients face-to-face and via video/phone/chat/email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns for individuals, trusts, partnerships
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products/services
• Provide clients with IRS support and guidance
• Mentor and support teammates in a fast-paced environment
• Must meet continuing education requirements and IRS/state regulations

Responsibilities
