Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Tax Professional to build strong client relationships and deliver advanced tax training for success. You will interview clients, prepare tax returns, and promote additional services in a fast-paced environment.

You will conduct virtual and in-person interviews, handle complex tax scenarios, and work with experienced teams to support IRS processes and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support; acceptable for certification levels to provide audit representation.
