H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs and receive advanced tax training. You’ll interview clients in person or via virtual tools, prepare returns, and help grow the practice while supporting teammates.

The role emphasizes providing IRS support and delivering quality service in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for ongoing learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support, including audit representation where applicable.
• Mentor and support teammates.
