Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs, supported by an expert team and advanced training.

You will conduct tax interviews with clients via face-to-face, video, phone or chat, prepare complete returns, and help grow the business by increasing client retention and offering additional services.

This role requires ongoing education and compliance with IRS/state requirements, with opportunities for mentorship and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification required.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
• Mentor and support teammates

Skills

5+ years of experience in accounting,

Experience conducting virtual taxinter

Experience with tax planning and audit

Sales and/or marketing experience

Experience completing complex returns

Education
