H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs, backed by a team and advanced training.

You will conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and via virtual tools, prepare complete tax returns, and work to grow the business while mentoring teammates.

This role blends client service, technical tax work, and ongoing IRS requirements in a fast-paced, learning-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification preferred.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support.
• Mentor and support teammates.
