Job summary

Jackson Hewitt - 2073 seeks a Seasonal Experienced Tax Preparer to guide clients through complex tax codes and complete accurate tax forms. You will conduct face-to-face interviews, assist with multistate and year-end returns, and provide IRS audit support as needed.

You will contribute to client growth, retention, and service quality in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to mentor teammates and participate in marketing efforts.

Qualifications

• 2+ seasons of tax experience
• Experience completing individual, trust, &/or partnership returns
• Passion for extraordinary customer service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Successful completion of the Jackson Hewitt Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Experience in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• CPA or Enrolled Agent is a bonus
• PTIN Certification: Yes

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face tax interviews with clients.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and upsell products and services.
• Answer client calls via the national call center routing system.
• Provide tax planning guidance and respond to questions in a timely manner.
• Process client payments and ensure deposits.
• Participate in marketing and business development efforts.
• Support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration.
• Mentor teammates and act as lead when needed.
• Handle sensitive and confidential information as part of the role.
