Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs with the support of an expert team.

You’ll conduct tax interviews, prepare complete and accurate returns, and help clients understand options while driving client growth and retention. Strong accounting foundations and CPA/EA credentials are preferred; comfort with virtual tools is valued.

Qualifications

• Complete tax interviews with clients in person and virtually.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Grow the business by increasing client retention and offering services.
• Provide clients IRS support and audit notice services.
• Meet continuing education requirements and IRS/state rules.
• High school diploma or higher; CPA/EA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth and increase client retention.
• Provide clients with IRS support, including notices when applicable.
• Mentor and support teammates; work in a fast-paced environment.
