Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs and to grow client relationships with the support of an expert team. You’ll complete comprehensive tax interviews and returns using virtual tools, and receive advanced tax training to succeed.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, focus on client growth, and help with tax planning and IRS support while mentoring teammates and delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification preferred.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax experience.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support (including audit representations where applicable).
• Mentor and support teammates.
