Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs, supported by an expert team and advanced training.

You will conduct tax interviews (in person or virtually), prepare complete and accurate returns, and identify opportunities to grow the business while delivering IRS support. A Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field and CPA or EA certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Experience with tax planning and audit support
• Sales and/or marketing experience

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
• Mentor and support teammates
