H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs and provide advanced training to help you succeed. You’ll build lasting client relationships under the guidance of an expert team and contribute to growing the office through effective tax services.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in accounting or related field, CPA/EA certification, and 5+ years in accounting or tax.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification preferred.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face or through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field

CPA or Enrolled Agent certification

Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)

5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax

Experience conducting virtual tax interviews

Experience with tax planning and audit support

Sales and/or marketing experience
