H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs. You’ll build client relationships with the support of an expert team and receive advanced tax training.

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, CPA/EA certification, and have 5+ years in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax. Experience with virtual interviews and tax planning is valued, within an independently owned franchise office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients via video, phone, chat or email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and upsell services.
• Provide clients with IRS support (including audit representation where allowed).
