You will interview clients to understand finances and tax implications, offering personalized recommendations and opportunities for savings. This in-person seasonal role emphasizes client service, consultative guidance, and collaboration within a high-performing office.

Qualifications

• Completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment 1.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related fields.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must meet IRS/state continuing education requirements.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse situations.
• Conduct client interviews to understand finances and tax implications, then provide recommendations.
• Build trusted client relationships and identify tax savings opportunities and products.
• Provide IRS support, notices, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team and contribute to a positive client-focused office environment.
