Qualifications

• Completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of tax prep, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping experience
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative role
• Strong verbal and written communication; explain tax concepts clearly
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex situations
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand finances and life changes
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax saving opportunities
