Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Inc. is hiring a Seasonal Experienced Tax Preparer to guide clients through tax forms, including multi-year and multi-state returns, and to provide IRS audit support.

You will file electronically, provide copies for review, and ensure accurate e-filing to the IRS and state agencies. You will conduct face-to-face tax interviews, drive business growth, assist with client retention, and respond to tax questions promptly.

Qualifications

• 2+ seasons of tax experience.
• Experience completing individual, trust, and/or partnership returns.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Completed Jackson Hewitt Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent is a bonus.
• PTIN Certification: Yes

Responsabilités

• Conduct face-to-face tax interviews with clients.
• Generate business growth and increase client retention.
• Answer client calls via our national call center routing system.
• Provide tax planning and answer questions in a timely fashion.
• Process payments and deposits.
• Marketing and business generation efforts.
• Support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration.
• Mentor teammates and act as lead when needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
