Job summary

Jackson Hewitt seeks a Seasonal Entry Level Tax Preparer to guide clients through tax forms, provide IRS audit support, and complete e-filing for multiyear and multistate returns.

You will conduct face-to-face interviews, prepare returns, and help grow the business through client service and the sale of additional products. Flexible schedules, including day/night/weekends, part-time or full-time, are available.

Qualifications

• Patience and accuracy in tax preparation
• Strong interpersonal communication
• Ability to explain tax concepts clearly
• Competence with basic computer functions and math
• Knowledge of tax regulations is a plus
• PTIN Certification required or pursued

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face tax interviews with clients.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Assist with multiyear and multistate tax forms and e-filing.
• Provide IRS audit support when needed.
• Assist in marketing and business development.
• Process client payments and deposits.
