Job summary

Jackson Hewitt Inc. is hiring a Seasonal Entry Level Tax Preparer to guide clients through tax codes, explain forms, and complete accurate returns, including multiyear and multistate filings.

You will conduct face-to-face tax interviews, file and e-file returns, provide IRS audit support, generate client growth, and maintain compliance with policies. Flexible schedules include day, night, weekends, full-time or part-time roles. PTIN Certification: Yes.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of computer functions and math.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.
• Experience in accounting, finance, retail, bookkeeping, or tax preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance, explain, prepare, and complete accurate tax-related forms for clients including multiyear, multistate, year-end tax forms.
• Conduct face-to-face tax interviews with clients and prepare complete returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS audit support and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Complete all related tax forms and process payments securely.
• Support marketing and business generation efforts.
