H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate to work in person at a local tax office in Washington. You’ll meet with clients, gather information, and begin preparing tax returns with training and support from day one.

No prior tax experience is required; the role emphasizes client service, clear communication, and learning on the job. Hours range mid-season, with potential to increase earnings as tax knowledge grows.

Competenze

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course
• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service-oriented environment
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly and asking questions to understand needs
• Problem-solving skills, including organizing information and identifying solutions
• Comfort using digital tools and systems including AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT
• High school diploma / GED / equivalent
