Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a hands-on Office Experience Manager to lead a team of Tax Advisors and CSPs in a busy in-person office. You will translate direction from leadership into disciplined daily execution, coaching, and enhanced client experiences during the fall ramp and peak tax season.

You will manage scheduling, coach associates, lead daily huddles, and drive growth metrics while coordinating with the OEM, DGM, and CCS teams.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated people management experience in a service/retail environment.
• Strong client-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering consultative client experience.
• Coaching capability—observe performance, give direct feedback, and drive behavior change.
• Strong decision-making and judgment skills in a fast-paced setting with minimal supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for difficult conversations with clients and associates.
• Data fluency—interpret KPI and coaching data to inform priorities and coaching focus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the daily consultative client experience with disciplined execution.
• Model consultative, client-centric behaviors and set the team standard.
• Serve as the on-site point of contact for escalated client concerns and resolve them.
• Conduct client walk/talks and exit conversations to gather feedback for coaching.
• Lead the in-office team of Tax Advisors and CSPs and coordinate with CCS.
• Manage day-to-day office operations, scheduling, and workflows.
• Lead daily huddles and communicate priorities and recognition to associates.
• Drive office growth targets and client outcomes in collaboration with OEM and DGM.
