H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Tax Associate to join our local tax office in Illinois. You’ll meet with clients, gather information, prepare returns, and answer questions with guidance from experienced teammates. Training provided from day one and a focus on building client relationships.

This in-person role offers an hourly pay range and opportunities to grow tax knowledge and earnings during peak season, with flexible evening and weekend availability for tax season.

Formación

• Experience interacting with customers in a service environment.
• Strong communication and ability to explain information clearly.
• Problem solving and organizing information.
• Comfort using digital tools including Copilot and ChatGPT.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources.
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork, collaboration, and a client-first approach.
