H&R Block is hiring a seasonal Tax Associate to work in a local tax office in Illinois. No prior tax experience is required, as training and support are provided from day one. You will meet with clients, gather information, prepare returns, and explain tax details clearly while identifying potential savings opportunities.

This in-person role offers an hourly wage with opportunities to increase earnings as you gain tax knowledge. Availability for evenings and weekends during tax season is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have completed the H&R Block Income Tax Course or equivalent.
• Experience interacting with customers in a service environment is required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support.
