H&R Block is hiring a Seasonal Tax Associate in Washington, DC. You will meet with clients to gather information, prepare tax returns, and answer questions with training and support from day one.

This in-person role takes place at a local H&R Block tax office, with opportunities to learn and grow. No prior tax experience is required; completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course is part of the qualification set.

Competenze

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course
• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service-oriented environment
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly and asking questions to understand needs
• Problem-solving skills, including organizing information and identifying solutions
• Comfort using digital tools and systems including AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT
• High school diploma / GED/ equivalent

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services
