H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate to join our local tax office. You’ll meet with clients, gather information, and prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.

No prior tax experience is required. You’ll learn on the job, explain tax information clearly, identify savings opportunities, and build strong client relationships while helping meet office priorities through teamwork and a client-first approach.

Qualifications

• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly and asking questions to understand needs.
• Problem-solving skills, including organizing information and identifying solutions. Comfortable using digital tools and systems including AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
