H&R Block is seeking a Seasonal Tax Associate to join a local tax office. You’ll meet with clients, gather information, and prepare tax returns with guidance from experienced teammates.

No prior tax experience is required; you’ll receive training and support from day one, and learn to explain tax information clearly, identify savings opportunities, and build strong client relationships in a busy, in-person role.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course.
• Experience interacting with customers in a service-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly.
• Problem-solving skills, including organizing information and identifying solutions.
• Comfort using digital tools and systems including AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.
• High school diploma / GED/ equivalent

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations clients can understand.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
